Trisha Griffin-Carty, Storyfinder

  • Do you have work and personal stories that would engage your listeners, but don’t where to start?
  • Are you ever concerned that your audience thinks your presentation is dry? (That maybe you think is dry?)
  • Is there someone you admire whose delivery style includes humor and story?

If you want others to see the value you bring, sharing stories is a proven way to capture your audience’s attention.

By “listening between the lines”, I will help you find that moment in your experience that reveals the story you want to tell.

“If you are really lucky, you grow up and get paid for what got you into trouble when you were a child.”

One of my earliest memories is being reprimanded for talking too much and “telling stories out of school” about my family to neighbors, teachers and pretty much anyone else who would listen!

However, once I completed my M.A. in English from Northeastern University, I found legitimate outlets for my curiosity. First as a public school teacher and later as a career coach.

Stories were everywhere, I was hooked.

A career switch led to creating Griffin-Carty Communications. I began working with organizations and individuals from health care, financial services, higher education and non-profits.

By applying my “listening between the lines”, I was able to move them beyond powerpoint slides and bullets to Including stories in their formal or informal communications. Incorporating the art of storytelling into business presentations and conversations became my signature work.
