“If you are lucky, you grow up and get paid for what got you into trouble as a child.”

About Trisha Griffin-Carty

Stories have always played an important role in Trisha’s life and career. One of her earliest memories is being reprimanded for talking too much and “telling stories out of school” about her family to neighbors, teachers and pretty much anyone else who would listen.

Once she completed a B. A. from Suffolk University and an M.A. in English from Northeastern University, she found a legitimate outlet for her curiosity about what makes people think, feel, and act. In her first career as an educator in a public school system, she worked with students on analyzing literature (other people’s stories) and writing their own.

Today, as a speaker, communications coach and facilitator, Trisha works with clients from financial services, technology, manufacturing and higher education. In these environments, she focuses on every aspect of the presentation process: from selecting the “right” topic, analyzing each audience, creating a clear, easy-to-follow structure, to honing delivery skills through detail, inflection, and nuance.

Her signature work, Unleash Your Inner Storyteller, uses storytelling techniques to develop and deliver powerful narratives that get business results.
